Kash Adamski is a rapidly advancing junior cyclist with BMX, track, and XC mountain bike experience.  Kash first started racing at age 2 on strider bikes, and at age 5 took up BMX. He moved up quickly to intermediate class racing after winning 10 novice class races in his first BMX season.  Following 20 wins in the intermediate class, Kash moved on to expert class, and was a consistent top 3 finisher in the Michigan state BMX championships and held a top 20 ranking in the state. Kash won several DK Gold Cup races around the Midwest and was a Great Lakes National 2nd place winner in 2019.   

Kash started his XC mountain bike experience in 2018 with a 2nd place beginner category finish at a local race, and began competing in the Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association (MiSCA) youth race series the following year. In 2021, he finished third overall in MISCA’s six-race series advanced middle school category, with one 2nd place, four 3rd place, and one 4th place finish. Kash’s 2022 XC mountain bike goals include finishing 1st in the MiSCA race series (junior varsity), and top 5 age group performance at the USAC Track Nationals.   

This past October 2021, Kash started racing at the Lexus Velodrome track in Detroit. On the boards, Kash racked up seven wins in the junior field and advanced to the open-age semi-pro (A) field where he has to many wins to count, demonstrating rapid growth in his understanding and execution of race strategy. In 2022, Kash started a structured cycling and weight training program. He also receives regular coaching at the Lexus Velodrome where he trains with numerous junior national track champions.   

July 2022, USA Junior Track Nationals. Kash was 3rd overall in the Mens 13-14 Omnium in Allentown Pennsylvania. Kash brought home One Silver (4km scratch) and Two Bronze medals (10 km points race/ Omnium). In the fall of 2022 Kash along with his teammate became Madison National Champions in the 13-14 age group. He also went undefeated in the 6 MISCA State mountain Bike races making him a state champion.

Who do you admire the most?  
I admire Dylan Bibic as my hero. He is a nineteen year old from Canada who recently became the Elite scratch World Champion. Dylan also had a few junior Individual Pursuit records. I lookup to Dylan because he is super nice and knows what it takes to win.

What was your favorite race in 2022? 
My favorite race of 2022 was probably Track Madison Nationals, the race was super fast especially since it was a 13-18 year old field. The race was out of control right after the formation lap, and never slowed down. The craziest part was that my teammate crashed and we still came out on top.

When you are not training how do you like to spend your time? 

When I'm not training, I spend my time hanging out with friends and working at the bike shop.
