I joined my local bike team and fell in love with the sport. What types of cycling do you compete in?I compete in Xc mountain biking, Road racing, Gravel racing and Cyclocross. Why are you excited to be part of CCA? To take my cycling to the next level and have great teammates to race with. Your 2025 cycling goals - I want to race in multiple big gravel and road races this season including Green Mountain Stage Race, Unbound Gravel, Chequamegon MTB, Big Sugar Gravel and multiple National races. My top goal is to place in the top 10 in the Iceman Cometh Challenge. Long term cycling goals - I want to continue cycling and go to college at Fort Louis In Durango Colorado. I want to do this so I can keep racing at a high level and see where it takes me. The most difficult race or ride you have done and why? The hardest race I have done is the Ore To Shore 48 mile Point to point Mountain bike race in Marquette Michigan, 8-10-24. This race was super hard for many reasons because it is pretty long for a mountain bike race and it was raining and super muddy. This made the course much harder but it is also one of my favorites because it's in Northern Michigan. The most fun race or ride you have done and why? The most fun race I have done is Iceman Cometh In Travers City Michigan 11-2-24. This was the most fun because I got to line up and race with some of the best Mountain bikers in The United States. I found this race fun because of all the people that are there along the fast 28 mile course cheering but also racing with Pros I look up to and crossing the line with some of them. What races are you most excited for in 2025? I am most excited for the Tour Of Americas Dairyland, MTB National races and Green Mountain Stage Race. What are the most important things competitive cycling has taught you? It has taught me so much but the most positive one to be is to just have fun and enjoy the ride. What is your motivation to put in the winter training miles? So I can be ready to race when it comes and so I can be in the best shape. What qualities make you a great teammate? Being Supportive and positive to everyone no matter if they had a good or bad day on the bike. Total miles and elevation for 2024 per Strava - 5k+ Miles and a good amount of climbing. Longest ride ever (including date & location) - 110 Miles in June 2023 in Boyne City Michigan. What bands are on your training music playlist? Nirvana and others like that. What is your favorite pump-up song? Night Moves Bob Seger What do you enjoy doing when you are not going to school, training or racing? I like to hang out with friends, fish, Golf, Hike, and my favorite is to Snowboard in the winter.
