Nick is a new addition to the CCA team coming in with a background in distance running. Throughout his childhood, Nick followed professional cycling and had an appreciation for the sport, but did not begin cycling consistently until college. He began cycling to stay in shape while injured from running, and upon graduating from Miami University in 2024 he started to bike with goals of competing. In July 2024 Nick competed in the Medina Twin Sizzler road race, coming away with a win in the men's category. He raced his first criterium in August 2024 at the Debaets-Devos Pro-Am bike race, where he finished in 6th place in the Cat 4 division. His final race of 2024 was at the On a Diagonal Road Race in Ohio, which was also the Ohio State Road Race championship, where he finished 3rd in the Cat 3/4 division. Outside of cycling Nick is an assistant coach for cross country and track at Saint Ignatius High School. He stays up to date in the world of running and loves to get out on the trails when he can. He also spends lots of time with his family's lovely golden retriever, Mia. Looking ahead to the 2025 season, Nick is excited to get as much racing in as he can to gain experience, promote CCA, and most of all be competitive.
